The Manuel Antonio National Park entrance fee is US$10 per person. Children under 12 free. Hours: 7am. to 4pm. Closed on Monday. With the establishment of ManuelAntonio National Park in 1972, the people of Costa Rica decided to preserve, for future generations, one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world. Although it is the country's smallest national park, the stunning beauty and diversity of wildlife in its 683 hectares is unequaled.

Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. The beaches are the most beautiful in the country, covered in fine, soft sand and lined with lush forest. They offer perfect opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling. The forest is home to sloths, iguanas, all four species of monkeys found in Costa Rica including the rare and adorable squirrel monkey, and millions of colorful little crabs. There are many well maintained trails in the park, and the trail that winds around Punta Catedral offers some truly spectacular views. The park is easy to reach, south of the town of Quepos, and is near a good selection of hotels and restaurants.

Visiting the park, one is treated to an abundant diversity of wildlife. Cathedral Point, with its forest topped cliffs was once an island, but is now connected to the coast by a thin peninsula of sand. This land bridge now forms the spine separating the parks two most popular beaches, Playa Espadilla Sur and Playa Manuel Antonio.

The southern facing beach, Playa Manuel Antonio, is a picturesque half mile long, white sand crescent bisecting deep green foliage to one side and a private, secluded cove to the other.

Standing with your feet dug into the sand and watching the wave crash against the rocks on either side of the lagoon, it is easy to believe that you are a thousand miles from anywhere.

Scuba Diving

If you enjoy nature, you will love Costa Rica below the surface. Thanks to visionaries like the late Jacques Cousteau, our Central American country has been developing into one of the Pacific Coast´s most popular diving destinations.

With a New Dive Center in the Central Pacific Region, Manuel Antonio Divers offers a full spectrum of services. The bilingual staff offers PADI Resort Courses for the entry level diver, as well as other PADI Course Instruction for the more experienced diver who wants to advance their skills. Jetski adventure

This 2 Hour Adventure is for Waterlovers who want excellent equipment no beat up old Waverunners here! No experience is necessary. Our tour offers a unique, guided safari in which a group can observe and enjoy the islands, species, history and coastline of Manuel Antonio Park, with safety and respect for the environment, in an exotic and thrilling Waverunner Adventure.

Catamaran adventure

Schedule: 8:30am / 1:30pm
Includes: food, beverages, snorkeling equipment, safety equipment and transportation from hotel.

Sail the crystal clear waters of Costa Rica’s coast in style and comfort on board our luxury catamaran. Relax on board a catamaran and watch the beautiful coastline of Manuel Antonio slip by. We often see wild dolphins; and if we are lucky, sea turtles, manta rays and migrating humpback whales.

Horseback riding

Schedule: 8:30 am / 12:00 noon
Includes: Bilingual guides, round trip transportation, and food.

Ride on horseback through the most unforgettable trails, surrounded by lush primary and secondary rainforest. From the stables the tour is lead by experienced bilingual guides. The trails all run through the forest, where you can marvel at the stunning scenery and spot the wildlife. You will be able to see butterflies, like the giant Blue Morph; exotic birds, such as the toucan; and mammals, like our resident group of monkeys.

Mangrove tours

Immerse yourself in a mangrove adventure, where nature reveals its flawlessness. In the mangrove everything flows harmoniously, the blend of fresh water and salt water, the diversity of the most extraordinary plants and wildlife in all its splendor.

Kayak

Schedule: 8:00 am / 2:00 pm
Includes: Bilingual kayaking guides, round trip transportation, all high quality equipment.

If warm weather paddling in a tropical paradise sounds appealing to you, then look no further. This is a great way to get some exercise and explore the exotic coastline of Manuel Antonio National Park. At our launch site, in Quepos, we will give you an informative kayak/safety lesson and provide you with all the necessary kayaking equipment.

River Rafting

Schedule: 8:00 am / 1:00 pm
Includes: Bilingual Rafting guides, round trip transportation, all high quality equipment.

You can take half-day or full-day trips, All our trips include an instruction briefing of the safety produces and techniques that you will need to enjoy your time on the river. Then we are ready to run the river! Feel the excitement as our certified guides escort you down the Naranjo or Savegre Rivers...

Canopy tour

Schedule: 7:00 am / 10:00 am
Includes: transportation, food and all equipment.

You want to have a rainforest adventure? A canopy tour is the thing for you, with a monkey's-eye view of the rain forest canopy whilst zipping along on a cable! At the beginning of your adventure our highly skilled guides explain our canopy system to you and show you how canopy equipment operates.
All our high quality equipment is very safe and simple to use, and will be handled by the guides. Your adventure will take you to our 18 canopy platforms; our guides will assist you at each platform...

Rainforest tour

Schedule: 8:00 am and 12:00 noon
Includes: Natural fruit juices, fresh fruit snacks, a typical Costa Rican lunch, and roundtrip transportation from the Quepos/ Manuel Antonio area.

Come and go where the stars go. The Rainmaker visitor tours a carefully designed trail winding along the Rio Seco river bank, allowing the opportunity of viewing natural habitats of the poison dart frogs, millipedes, Jesus Christ lizards, Morpho butterflies and many other bird species.

This river walk culminates with a refreshing dip in a pristine pool fed by the pure waters of the Rainmaker Mountain.
